Several major airlines fly to Alaska on a regular basis.  Alaska Airlines, Horizon Airlines, Delta Airlines, and Northwest Airlines are the main carriers.

One option that our guests like to use is flying from Anchorage to Kenai Alaska.  Kenai is just 11 miles from Soldotna.  Era Aviation is the airline that serves this flight.  They have a 38 passenger Turbo Prop plane.  Round trip fares are very reasonable.  This option saves our guests a four hour drive from Anchorage.

Reservations can also be made by contacting Alaska Airline and requesting a flight from Anchorage to Kenai as Era Aviation is connected with Alaska Airline.  It is suggested that reservations be made at least seven days in advance due to the limited number of seats on the plane.

Rental cars are available in Anchorage from most of the major car rental companies.  Rates very depending on the type of vehicle you wish to rent.  Rental cars are also available in Kenai.

Guests are responsible for their own transportation in getting to and while staying at the lodge.

Driving Directions from Soldotna

In Soldotna at intersection of Sterling Highway (AK-1) and East Redoubt Avenue.  (Ford Dealer and Holdiay gas station) turn east onto East Redoubt Avenue.

Follow East Redoubt to end of pavement where it turns into Keystone Drive.

Follow gravel road three miles to AAA American Angler in Alaska sign on right.
