Fly outs and Halibut Fishing
FLYOUTSTalon Air Service provides the majority of our fly out trips. All of the fly-in fishing trips start with a "bush float plane" flight from Soldotna. Trips last six hours or more. All trips are guided and include a guide, hip boots, spinning tackle, and instruction. Fly fishermen must bring their own gear.
Fishing fly outs can be for King, Sockeye, or Silver Salmon, Grayling, or Rainbow Trout.
Fly in fishing is not only about fishing but the chance to see a lot more of Alaska in a single outing. Bear viewing is always an option.
HALIBUT TRIP
Our one day halibut trips are centered out of Homer Alaska. Ivory Queen Charters handles a majority of our halibut fishing trips. The trips are eight hours or longer. All fishing gear is provided. Your fish will be filleted and bagged. Combo trips for salmon, cod, or bottom fish can be arranged.
Overnight trips are available.

Dress in layers and have good set of rain gear available as the weather can be unpredictable at times. Bring lunch, camera, and secure some motion sickness patches or Dramamine if you are prone to setting sea sick.
